A high-floor apartment at Manhattan’s 520 Park Avenue has sold for $37.5 million, nearly 20% more than the $31.5 million the seller paid for the Billionaires’ Row condo unit in 2018, property records show.
The seller in the off-market deal was a company tied to Albert Tylis, records show. Tylis was the president and chief executive officer of NorthStar Asset Management until early 2017, according to his LinkedIn profile, which now lists him as a co-founder of the Tylis Family Foundation.
The buyer is listed in property records as the limited liability company Ask 36, which lists its address as the office of an attorney in Manhasset, N.Y.
Tylis couldn’t be reached for comment. Ryan Serhant, the agent who represented Tylis in his 2018 purchase of the property, declined to comment.
