Daemen University just received the largest single donation in its history: $2 million.
John Yurtchuk, the school’s Board of Trustees chairman, donated $2 million to the President’s Excellence Fund, which helps maintain the university’s long-term stability.
To recognize his donation and his 10 years serving on an advisory board and as a trustee, the school will rename its Wick Student Center after Yurtchuk.
